When you interact with the Dakis Websites, we strive to make that experience easy and meaningful. When you come to our Websites, our Web server sends a cookie to your computer. Cookies are very small text files stored on your computer by your web browser (Chrome, Edge, Internet Explorer, Firefox, etc). The Dakis Websites require that you enable cookies. We do this because it is the most secure means to permit login access to the Service and the Dakis Websites. Cookies are used by the world’s most trusted financial institutions and are required when you do online banking because they provide the best security available. Although our cookies may contain a unique user ID, they do not collect or store any of your personally identifiable information.
Cookies come in two flavours: session and persistent-based. Session cookies exist only during an online session. They disappear from your computer when you close your browser software or turn off your computer. Persistent cookies remain on your computer after you've closed your browser or turned off your computer. They include such information as a unique identifier for your browser.
Dakis uses session cookies containing encrypted information to allow the system to uniquely identify you while you are logged in or to process a transaction. This information allows Dakis to process your online transactions and requests. Session cookies help us make sure you are who you say you are after you've logged in or to process a transaction and are required in order to use the Dakis Service. Cookies simulate a continuous connection — they let us "remember" information about your preferences and session, and allow you to move within areas of our Web sites without re-introducing yourself. You may choose to decline cookies if your browser permits, but doing so may affect your use of the Websites and your ability to access certain features of the Websites or engage in transactions through the Websites.
